Tai Lam Chung Reservoir, known as Hong Kong’s Thousand Island Lake, is the first reservoir built in the city after World War II. Dozens of isles of all shapes and sizes scatter on the deep green water just as a handful of pearls fall on a piece of velvet cloth, creating a mesmerizing landscape viewing from the air.
